Scam Alert Notice – Court Issue Summons Complaint – Process Server
If you receive a call from someone stating they are with a law firm acting as a court process server, and they want to serve you with court paperwork from Bradford County, please hang up and call our office to confirm if you have a case with Bradford County. In our experience the person performing the process server job serves the paper in-person, not by phone, email, or mail. Additionally, the process server should have the Bradford County case number to reference.
TELEPHONE SCAM REGARDING MISSED COURT APPEARANCE
If you receive a call from someone demanding payment because of missed jury duty, you should disconnect from the call immediately. Jury duty notices and other court notices are provided in writing by the court system.
